Tonight we are re-"treating" to our old dancing venue across the street from our regular YMCA location. We call it the "Upstairs Ballroom" - it is on the 2nd floor of Dance Tech/Squared Away Storage at 1101 N Main St.
We are across the street in our old Upstairs Ballroom at Dance Tech on 1101 North Main. Brendan will again be your instructor another 7:30 "Intro to Swing: Lindy Hop" lesson. 8:30 dancing is to the music you request, or you can bring your own including Swing with a ballroom and Latin variety. Details are in the last section of this notice.
Back at our regular location the YMCA is having an Elvis Tribute impersonator fund raiser show, and Swing dance of their own tonight - to which you are also very welcome. If you want to check it out and have a SVSDS membership I might be able to arrange a discount, reply to this notice and I'll let you know. (Item 5)
This being Halloween weekend, 2 alter ego dress-up dances remain from last notice: one tonight at the University Club, then Roanoke USA Dance's at the Vinton War Memorial tomorrow night. (Items 7 and 9)
